Baby Carriage

Here's a baby card I made using lots of dies, a couple of punches and ribbon and stick on pearls from Meiflower. I used satin ribbon for the hood and pram of the baby carriage, by first applying a thin line of Collall tacky glue around the edges of the pram hood and blanket, then attaching the ribbon ( I used 25mm wide satin and 10mm wide satin), leaving it to dry and then trimming away the excess. I used the same ribbon and technique behind the die cut border too and then decorated with various sizes of stick on pearls finishing off with a double loop bow made from organza ribbon.

Anniversary card

Here's an anniversary card I made for a friend using a fab digi set from Drawn with Character on Etsy. I love the quirky humour in this set.
I coloured the digi stamp in Photoshop as usual and then mounted the images onto x-cut postage stamp dies, the sentiment was computer generated and then die cut with a sizzix heart die and matted onto a larger heart.  I punched a ribbon slot either side of the heart, threaded Meiflower grosgrain ribbon through, folded it back on itself and then stitched on a couple of  Meiflower polka dot buttons, before sticking the whole thing to the card front.

Ribbon Corners

Hi, on today's card I made some decorative corners using Meiflowers grosgrain ribbon and polka dot buttons. I cut two pieces of ribbon a couple of centimetres long, trimmed the edges at an angle and then folded them in the middle before using red tape to stick them into place on my card, I then added a small button to the corner to finish the design. The large polka dot button is also available from Meiflower.

Baby Card

Here's a card I've recently made for a friend for her Grandson's birth, and yes you are seeing the date right, he was born 10 months ago!!! she's only just realised that she didn't get a card made for him when he was born! I've added some pretty narrow satin ribbon and light blue pearls from Meiflower.

Too many Polka dots???

Hi, I wanted to drop by and show you this card I made for the Paper Creator Spots challenge, I kept the layout quite simple but used quite a few different colours of Meiflower Polka Dot ribbons for decoration, and these are just a small selection of the many colours that Meiflower stock.
