Taking flight

These cards in a box seem to be all over the place at the moment, so thought I would have a go at making one, I found some great instructions with downloadable template (link on my blog) and put this one together.

I used Meiflower clear stick on crystals for the butterfly bodies, a couple of her pearl embellishments to the centres of the flower and an organza ribbon bow.

Thanks for stopping by,
hugs,

Ribbon idea

Hi, just wanted to pop on and show you a card I made using Meiflowers grosgrain ribbons as the main decoration, I used a long reach ribbon slot punch to make holes in the card and then threaded the ribbons through and covered the space between the slots with stick on gems.
I also used the same digital stamp, coloured in Photoshop (I had printed it out twice to test the results on different settings on Kraft card) to make a second version of the card, this time using scalloped borders and ribbon, a charm and pearl hearts also from Meiflower.

Thanks for taking a look,
hugs,

Wedding invitation #5

A much easier one today, just some embossing and punched squares, with narrow ribbon, pearl heart embellishments and a diamante heart charm all from Meiflower.

Wedding invitation #4

This design is a little more complicated than some of the others, so would take a lot longer to put together, wouldn't be too bad for a small wedding with not too many invitations.
It's decorated with some lovely pearl embellishments from Meiflower.

The pearl and diamante flower topper is soooooo pretty in real life.

A wedding card (sort of)!

Here's a card I've made for a friend of mine and her hubby who are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary today by getting married again! They are renewing there vows at the same church, on the same date and time as they did when they got married.
I have used the gorgeous metallic edged ribbon from Meiflower and some fabulous new pearl embellishments that look like a large pearl surrounded by small pearls, just perfect for wedding cards.

The card would work perfectly well for someone getting married the first time too, just by changing the wording.

Thanks for popping in,
