Merry Christmas!

Here's my final Christmas card for this year, using an adorable image from Sugar Nellie. I've die-cut a couple of snowflakes from glitter card and decorated them with Meiflower 2mm and 4mm stick on gems for a different look, I also added a small diamanté buckle to the bow, which was made using a pretty pale blue polka dot satin ribbon.

Thank you for dropping in and taking a look
and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you
A Very Merry Christmas
and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Polka Dots

Hi there, today's card is for the Paper Creator challenge Spots and Dots, as well as using spotty and dotty papers I have included some of Meiflower's Polka dot ribbon and buttons.

I'm off to the Sincerely Yours show at Leigh today, to catch up with Mei and hand over this years wedding invitation samples, so look out for them on the blog in the coming weeks.

Have a lovely weekend,

The Crystal Blossom Sequin tree

Now this was one of those things that seemed like a good idea at the start, but after about an hour of painstakingly sticking on each sequin with tweezers didn't seem that good after all LOL! I have to admit though that it looks fabulous when the light catches it and all the sequins twinkle.

Thanks for dropping in,

Button Joy and ribbon tree

Hi, today I have a couple of Christmas card samples for you. Both were made using mostly Meiflower goodies, including buttons, a diamante ribbon slider, a diamante embellishment, stick on gems and lots of ribbons.

I used different shades of green polka dot buttons, to make the O in JOY, I was hoping it would give the impression of a Christmas wreath.

This is a very quick and easy design, just using a variety of ribbons (each one cut slightly longer than the last) to make a Christmas tree.

.... and finally..... a card made using  Meiflowers needle and scissors charms, they were absolutely perfect with the image.

Thanks for taking a look,

Kick it!

For today's card I have used a Paper Creator card kit, called Kick it, which is perfect for football mad boys of any age, I added Meiflower ribbon and buttons in appropriate team colours and a fab football shirt charm, also from Meiflower to finish it off.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend

Wedding invitation #6

Once again this one is not too difficult, just some different sized squares of card, one embossed, brought together with wide satin ribbon and a diamante heart ribbon slider from Meiflower
I added the feather because I thought the top looked a bit bare, but you could always print the names above the ribbon, the date or other details below and leave the feather off completely.

Owl ya need!

Today's card is made from a ready to print kit from Paper Creator. I've added a few punched flowers and die cuts leaves, lace from stash and then all that's needed to finish it off is some lovely Meiflower embellishments. For this card I have used wide satin ribbon, polka dot satin ribbon, stick on gems and a Love charm.

Thanks for looking,
enjoy the weekend,

Wonderful day

I have used a fabulous My Bestie digi stamp, coloured in photoshop for this card, and then made a looped bow with jade green satin ribbon and cerise pink polka dot satin ribbon, threaded through a gorgeous small diamond shaped diamanté buckle - all from Meiflower. I have added Meiflower crystal stick on gems to the doily and foliage to finish it off.

The sentiment circle is available as a freebie on my blog.

Football shirt charms

I have used one of the fab football shirt charms available from Meiflower on today's card, (which is a kit from Paper Creator), they are perfect for adding a little something to a football themed card, they have the word soccer and a football engraved on one side and on the other they have the number 9 (useful if you are making a card for a nine year old). You won't find them in the on-line store yet, so would have to phone your order through if  you wanted some, but you can pick them up at any of the craft shows that Meiflower attend. I have also used green Polka dot satin ribbon to hang the charm from and some black and white polka dot buttons, but you could use ribbon  and buttons in the colours of the recipients favourite team to make it a bit more personal.

Ribbon, charm and buttons all Meiflower
Thanks for taking a look,
