Pretty in Pink

I haven't been around much recently as my youngest daughter hasn't been very well and ended up in hospital, she had to have a blood transfusion amongst other things, and as she is disabled, her dad and I were at the hospital all day, every day with her. She is home now and doing OK, although she's not 100% better yet.
Today I have a card I made about a month ago, but haven't managed to blog yet, I used a paper and image from Nitwits Romance and Roses collection, computer generated the sentiment, arranging the blossom image around it and finished it all off with various Meiflower ribbons, gems, a diamante buckle and lace from my stash.

Satin flower Christmas tree and Wreath

A while ago I made some Christmas samples for Mei to show at the craft shows she attends and although it has taken me a while to get around to it, I have finally managed to get them blogged.

On this card I arranged the flowers in the shape of a Christmas tree adding a couple of stick on gems to the middle of my precious snowflakes.

Here I used the flowers to decorate my wreath shape, adding a bow tied with both organza and metallic edged ribbon and topping off with a diamante snowflake topper and cats eye dazzlers in the corners to finish off.

Some of the items aren't available on the website as yet, but you can pick them up at any of the craft shows Meiflower attends and also by phoning through an order.

Christmas Stackable set

Hi there, here's a Christmas set I made using a download from Paper Creator and then embellishing it with lots of crystals, pearls and ribbons from Meiflower.

The set consists of a drawer which contains three Christmas cards and envelopes. I used a stick on pearl either side of the drawer handle.

I added a satin ribbon rosebud trio and organza bow to the ornament and used tiny red stick on pearls for the holly berries.

On this card I used both 10mm and 25mm Satin ribbon and pink stick on gems.

I decorated the Christmas tree with 2mm stick on gems in red, deep pink and light pink, added a narrow satin ribbon bow to the top and AB crystals in the centre of the snowflakes.

Thanks for taking a look,
enjoy the weekend,

Christmas Quickie!

Just wanted to show you this quick Christmas card, the design is printed onto one sheet of paper, I cut it out and attached some of Meiflower's pretty red satin ribbon and an acrylic ribbon slider before fixing it into place on a Kraft card blank. I added a die cut frame, some stick on gems and the sentiment and viola! one completed card in under 20 mins, brilliant if you have a large batch to make up.

Crystal sequin Blossoms!

Hi there, I have been playing around with Crystal Blossom Sequins from Meiflower and over the next few days will be showing you a few of the different things I've done with them. On today's card I made a simple frame around my image, alternating red and green sequins. It didn't take too long to do, I just put a line of tacky glue about a third of the way around the circle and then stuck the sequins into it, picking them up and placing them down with a pair of tweezers, I then did another line of glue around the next third attached the sequins and then finally completed the last third.
The photo doesn't show just how sparkly they are.

I also used satin ribbon, a tiny square diamante slider and some stick on pearls for the holly berries.

Princess Twinkle toes

Hi all, I wanted to show you the following card because as well as using some of Meiflowers gorgeous Metallic Edged ribbon and stick on pearls, I have also used little tiny 2mm stick on crystals for the crown, I love these little tiny crystals as they are so useful for decorating images that are not so big. I have used Aurora Borealis on the crown but Meiflower has them in a huge range of different colours too, so many more than are actually showing in the store.

Button Joy and ribbon tree

Hi, today I have a couple of Christmas card samples for you. Both were made using mostly Meiflower goodies, including buttons, a diamante ribbon slider, a diamante embellishment, stick on gems and lots of ribbons.

I used different shades of green polka dot buttons, to make the O in JOY, I was hoping it would give the impression of a Christmas wreath.

This is a very quick and easy design, just using a variety of ribbons (each one cut slightly longer than the last) to make a Christmas tree.

.... and finally..... a card made using  Meiflowers needle and scissors charms, they were absolutely perfect with the image.

Handbag gift box

As a change from my usual cards or wedding invitations I have a gift box to show you today, it started life as a plain old pillow box, but with the addition of a die cut handle quickly became a handbag gift box. The pillow box part is almost A5 size so plenty big enough to carry a pretty gift.

I added some of Meiflowers pretty metallic edged ribbon, a diamante ribbon slider and lots of stick on gems for extra sparkle.

Silver Bows

I made this card for a Bow Crazy challenge and used the fabulous little metallic ribbon bows from Meiflower for the bow part of the challenge. The ready made bows are really handy to add an extra little touch and perfect for wedding invitations or any other bulk card making as you don't have to fiddle about tying a bow, it's all done for you. There are also a couple of Meiflower stick on gems on the card.
